Performance—Life in motion
I grew up performing, and during that time have worked within a wide range of disciplines with emphasis on modern dance, aerial silks and lyra. Within these disciplines, I have been teaching and performing professionally since 2016. My emphasis has been primarily theatrical, with experience both working in and choreographing ensemble and solo formats.
After a stretch of time working in corporate event performance, the disenfranchisement of participating in this kind of performance culture (especially as an anticapitalist transgender person) has reaffirmed my specific interest in more artistically/socially/politically generative work . Now that Ihave killed the last parts of my soul left able to socially mask through being the shiny centerpiece of a luxury car dealership or country club function, I am specifically interested to get involved in more experimental projects, queer projects and venues, narratively rich projects focusing on liberatory themes, and mutual aid fundraisers.
